We’re not very good when it comes to blowing our own trumpet or banging a drum, but when someone lets us know we’re doing alright then we like to share that.
Here’s just a small sample of comments written by our parents

“All children should be so lucky as to attend here- Mandy and Mick are so warm and welcoming, listening to family stories and offering support in times of stress and even the small but significant detail of delivery of items forgotten to make bedtime at home a little (lot!) easier.
We can't thank them enough and they really feel like members of our extended family.” M. N.

“Mandy and Mick certainly take a holistic approach we have always held a strong feeling that Mandy and Mick hold great enthusiam for nuturing and supporting the children they look after.

We would highly recommend Nona's Nest to any parent seeking childminding services.”  V. HW.

“We always have really clear feedback on how she is and any concerns are discussed as they arise. This makes us feel valued as parents and comfortable with them too. They have a clear structure to her day such as meal times, but also have a really flexible approach towards each child which we have observed.

We feel like they enjoy their work and truly care for our daughter in a safe and nurturing environment. They feel like family which is exactly what we want for our daughter.” S. H.

“We are confident that Mandy and Mick have a positive effect on B. and incorporate learning and fun into her time spent here.” E. G.

“We enjoy also that both Mick and Mandy have open communication with us, sharing all his development and photos with us so we do not miss out on these special times.” S. F.

“I just wanted to write and let you know how happy my boys are in your care. They can't wait to tell me of their adventures to the park or Forest and adore helping Mick make bird boxes and other wood work creations. For two young boys to have the presence of a male role model is wonderful, and they clearly hold great affection for him as whenever we're heading to Nona's Nest, their first question is always "Mick will be there, won't he mummy?"” C. E.

We really do appear to have found the perfect setting for our daughter’s needs. Flexible enough to fit my working day, caring enough to keep A. happy, a vast number of toys to keep the mind busy, warm dinners most days which seem to be enjoyed by all, and finally a nice safe cosy setting to get some day time sleep. They will even look after my son at short notice if the need arises. Perfect! K. E.
